Jenny's List has been in existence since 2001. It grew out of Jenny's own experience of settling in Islamabad as a British expatriate, and her work as a CLO (Community Liaison Officer) in a major embassy, helping other expatriates to get familiar with Islamabad and enjoy their postings here.

It aims to inform on activities, events, customs and the changing face of the markets as shops , services and restaurants come and go. It also provides a forum for buying and selling cars and household goods for arriving and departing expats, and advertises room shares and reasonably priced accommodation. Another section offers a listing for well recommended domestic staff to advertise their services.

The Jenny's List team is entirely produced and maintained by  international expats volunteers. It is supported financially by the revenue from classified advertising.
